On Friday, August 23 from 5:30 – 8:30PM, in conjunction with Newark Parks & Recreation, the Friends of Fusion Foundation will be hosting the long-standing Parks on Draft summer tradition in Newark, DE. The event will once again be held in Norma B. Handloff Park off Barksdale Rd.
In addition to draft beer, Roja & Verde Taqueria will be on site selling authentic Mexican street food with live music by Acoustic Jukebox. The event is open to all ages, but attendees must be over the age of 21 and have ID on hand to purchase alcohol. Attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs and blankets. Four-legged, furry friends are allowed, but must be leashed and well trained in a confined area around large groups of strangers.
*This event benefits the Friends of Fusion Foundation’s partnership with Shoes That Fit Delaware Chapter which will provide a pair of brand-new name brand sneakers to every homeless child registered in the Delaware school system.
